The new Pokémon TCG Series from Japan: Inferno X is about to release on the 26th of september 2025. Inferno X features a new Mega Charizard illustrator card. It features existing and new Mega Evolutions from the new Legends Z-A Pokémon games for Nintendo Switch. The legends Z-A Game releases on the 16th of October in 2025.
Inferno X is the third Japanese set of the Mega Evolution series. The new set brings popular Mega Evolutions like Charizard back into the Trading Card Game (TCG). These cards are illustrated out of beautiful colors and are a must for every collector out there.
What are Pokémon Mega Evolutions?
Pokémon Mega Evolutions are the most powerful evolution of Pokémon. In the TCG, the cards are very powerfull and have HP up until 380 for the Mega Venusaur. Not every Pokémon can mega evolve, only certain Pokémon like Lucario, Gardevoir, Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard can mega evolve.
Are there new Mega Evolutions?
New Mega Evolutions are released with the new Pokémon Legends Z-A game for Nintendo Switch. So far only Dragonite and Hawlucha are known to get a mega evolution yet. It is likely that all new mega evolutions are also featured in the Japanese Inferno X TCG set.
