Unleash the Might of Ancient and Future Cards
The power of Paradox Pokémon enters the Pokémon TCG with Ancient and Future cards. These two types of Pokémon play quite differently, so you can adjust your deck to fit your personal strategy. If you like to hit your opponents hard, you'll love the power of Ancient Pokémon. These Pokémon have high HP and are equipped with strong, high-cost attacks. Future Pokémon, on the other hand, focus on speed and technique with low-cost attacks and retreats. There are also Ancient and Future Trainer cards that support Pokémon of their respective type, so build your deck accordingly.

Take a deeper look into the world of Pokémon with the amazing illustration rare cards that can be found in this expansion. These incredible full-art cards are lushly illustrated and give us a nice view of these Pokémon's lives. From Toedscruel or Blitzle lurking in a forest to Wimpod exploring a flooded structure to Steelix working alongside humans at a construction site (and plenty more!), these cards offer unique views of some beloved characters.

Technical Machines Expand Your Battle Strategies
Give your Pokémon more options in battle now that Technical Machines have returned to the Pokémon TCG. These Pokémon Tool cards will grant your Pokémon a new attack to use when they're attached to that Pokémon. It's a similar mechanic to the Scroll cards from the Sword & Shield—Battle Styles expansion, but these Pokémon Tools can be attached to any Pokémon (as opposed to being confined to Single Strike or Rapid Strike Pokémon). Just be aware that Technical Machines must be discarded at the end of your turn after attaching them to one of your Pokémon.
