Das Phänomen: Was ist Mega-Entwicklung?

Eingeführt in Pokémon X und Y (Generation VI), ist die Mega-Entwicklung eine temporäre Verwandlung, die bestimmte Pokémon während Kämpfen durchlaufen können. Im Gegensatz zur regulären Entwicklung, die permanent ist, dauert die Mega-Entwicklung nur für die Dauer eines Kampfes an.

• Die Voraussetzungen: Um eine Mega-Entwicklung auszulösen, benötigt ein Trainer einen Schlüsselstein (oft in einem Armband namens Mega-Ring getragen), und das Pokémon muss seinen spezifischen Mega-Stein halten (z. B. Lucarionit für Lucario).
• Die Bindung: Über die physischen Gegenstände hinaus besagt die Überlieferung, dass eine tiefe emotionale Bindung zwischen dem Trainer und dem Pokémon erforderlich ist, um diesen Zustand zu erreichen.
• Das Power-Up: Mega-entwickelte Pokémon erfahren signifikant erhöhte Basiswerte. Sie können auch ihren Typ ändern und eine neue Fähigkeit erwerben, was ihre Kampfstrategie komplett verändert.
